In this program, Jerry Gudauskas, a 24-year master gardener and certified master beekeeper from McHenry will cover topics that include bee history, some rudimentary information about beekeeping and tips for creating a bee-friendly yard.
The program begins inside with a seated presentation followed by a move outside to view native plants in the museum’s pioneer garden.
Advance ticket purchase is reaquired and seating is limited. Guests are required to wear masks during the entire program, including during the outside portion.
Please note the MCHS Museum is open 1:00pm - 2:00pm prior to the start of the program. To enjoy the museum and its new exhibitions please purchase separate museum admission tickets in advance.
